The agreements represent a shared commitment to deepening strategic cooperation in the tourism and cultural sectors, with the goal of fostering stronger people-to-people ties and mutual understanding between the two nations.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s visit to India underscores the importance of Malaysia’s relationship with India, which has spanned over 67 years. The visit was part of a broader effort to establish a future-oriented, multi-sector cooperation agenda that builds on the long-standing ties between the two countries.
