The NSIP stands as a testament to the harmonious blend of profitability and sustainability. Embracing a bold commitment to cut carbon emissions by 45% by 2035, the park plays a crucial role in supporting Malaysia’s ambitious net-zero target by 2050.
Among the innovative sustainability measures to be implemented are rooftop solar photovoltaic installations, digital twin technology powered by a cloud-based AI Internet of Things platform, and an AI-managed centralized labor quarter designed to house up to 30,000 workers. Furthermore, the park is set to incorporate a rainwater harvesting system and a 100-year flood mitigation plan, integrating Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies to cater to key industries like electrical and electronics, semiconductor, and smart logistics.
Additionally, NSIP will serve as a comprehensive one-stop center, facilitating a range of services from prominent entities such as Invest Selangor, the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida), and the Human Resource Development Corporation, among others.
