LBS Bina Group Bhd (LBS) is pleased to announce that the group is a Top 10 winner at the Malaysia Developers Awards (MDA) 2022 Top-of-the-Chart (market cap under RM1bil) category.

The award was presented by Ministry of Housing and Local Government Secretary-General Datuk M Noor Azman Taib to the group’s executive chairman Tan Sri Lim Hock San at the awards ceremony held at the Sunway Resort Hotel.

The MDA is a joint collaboration between Star Media Group and FIABCI-Malaysia. It aims to serve as a benchmark of excellence for property developers to elevate themselves to international standards and to strengthen the Malaysian property industry in the global arena. Commended for its exceptional performance and showcase of the extraordinary property landscape in Malaysia with its recent projects, namely LBS Alam Perdana, KITA @ Cybersouth and Residensi Bintang Bukit Jalil (RBBJ), are among the reasons for LBS to be conferred the award.

Winners were selected by a panel of esteemed judges and validated by official auditors based on their high degree of corporate performance and quality governance standards.

“Feeling honoured with the conferment of the Malaysia Developer Award 2022 Top of the Charts to LBS Bina is an understatement. It is worth noting that we were also recently awarded by Deloitte as Malaysia’s Best Managed Companies 2022.

“Both of these recognitions are the testament that LBS Bina has been achieving greater heights and setting new benchmarks, in terms of organisational management as well as the homes that we built. Behind these trophies, are the perseverance and hard work from my team at LBS Bina and will serve as a great motivation for us to do better, moving forward.

“This award, which is benchmarked at an international level for property developers, demonstrates our commitment towards corporate governance, the development of affordable housing and our ESG initiatives as we work towards taking LBS to new heights,” said Lim.
