PropNex Monopoly Championship Winner Takes Home RM28,888 Cash Prize and VanillaCrepe Franchise Worth RM130,000

In a thrilling competition at The Curve Damansara on the weekend of October 8th, the winner of the inaugural PropNex Monopoly Championship, Leonard Lai, walked away with a substantial prize of RM28,888 in real cash and a VanillaCrepe franchise valued at RM130,000.

PropNex Malaysia, the real estate agency that organized the event, described the championship as a resounding success, providing an engaging and educational experience to all participants. This year’s event attracted an impressive turnout, with thousands of enthusiastic participants, including 600 individuals who advanced to Round 2. This achievement is lauded for promoting financial literacy and property investment knowledge.

Evon Heng, the Organizing Chairman of the Monopoly Championship and Chief Operating Officer of PropNex Malaysia, expressed their delight with the overwhelming participation and generous support received from all parties involved.

The event’s primary objective was to blend entertainment with education by using the mechanics of the renowned Monopoly game to teach participants about cash flow management and asset management.

Other winners of the championship included Aiden Chia (3rd Runner Up), Ken Loo (2nd Runner Up), and Tommy Tan (1st Runner Up).
