Tropicana Gardens’ Edelweiss Celebrates 100% Take-Up and Topping-Off Event
Tropicana Gardens, a transit-oriented development (TOD) in Tropicana Indah, has reached a milestone with the 100% take-up of Edelweiss Serviced Residences and a topping-off ceremony for Edelweiss SOFO and Shoppes. This marks the success of the seventh phase of the project, developed by Tropicana Corp Bhd in collaboration with The Selangor State Development Corp (PKNS).
A Green-Certified Development
Upon completion, Edelweiss is set to receive the GreenRE Silver rating, adding yet another sustainable building to the Tropicana Gardens community. The quality of the development will also be assessed under the Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC), ensuring high standards in workmanship. With direct connectivity to the Surian MRT station, residents and visitors benefit from the project’s integration of work-live-learn-shop-play features in one location.
Strong Market Demand
As of now, the residential component of Edelweiss has achieved 100% take-up, while the Edelweiss Shoppes, launched in 2023, has already seen a 60% take-up rate.
“We are grateful that this innovative development has been so well received in the market. The topping-off ceremony today reflects Tropicana’s commitment to delivering quality developments on time. Edelweiss will also receive GreenRE certification, reflecting our focus on sustainable living. We are proud that Tropicana Gardens was recently named the best TOD by the FIABCI Malaysia Property Award 2023,” said Khoo Thian Shyang, deputy CEO of Tropicana Corp.
Strategic Location and Future Growth
Edelweiss Shoppes offers a limited 38 units across two floors, catering to various commercial needs. These units range from 250 sq ft to 2,433 sq ft and are strategically connected to major highways including NKVE, LDP, DASH, Penchala Link, and the Sprint Highway. With this, Tropicana Gardens continues to establish itself as a prime location for both residential and commercial growth, aligning with Tropicana’s mission of “Connecting Communities, Forging Futures.”
