Desa ParkCity’s South Brooks takes Value Creation Excellence Award

South Brooks at Desa ParkCity has been picked the winner in the residential category of The Edge Malaysia-PEPS Value Creation Excellence Award this year.

Part of The Edge Malaysia’s Property Excellence Awards 2022, the award recognises the property project in Malaysia with market value that has appreciated the most during the period judged.

“South Brooks’ win is made more significant as its price increase has been achieved in a weak property market weighed down by a sizable property overhang and unprecedented economic anxieties pressured by the impact of Covid 19,” stated Perdana ParkCity Sdn Bhd in a media release today.


The price appreciation rate is measured from officially documented transaction values vetted by a five-member panel of judges comprising representatives from the Association of Valuers, Property Managers, Estate Agents and Property Consultants in the Private Sector Malaysia (PEPS) and The Edge.

Besides looking at the price rise levels achieved, the judges also took into consideration the future growth prospect of South Brooks.

The award was presented on Nov 1 during a gala dinner at the Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

“It is also noteworthy that South Brooks scored an impressive 86% in the Quality Assessment System for Building Construction Works (QLASSIC), the highest score awarded in Malaysia under the high rise residential category,” stated Perdana ParkCity.

South Brooks has facilities such as a meadow park, siesta pavilion, sunken lounge, swimming pool, adventure playground and a grapevine trellis.

Meanwhile, a new project dubbed Noöra Residences will be launched in Desa ParkCity soon. Noöra Residences is designed to “meet a changing lifestyle post pandemic with people increasingly seeking a simpler, more functional and sustainable way of life – the Scandinavian lifestyle”.

Desa ParkCity’s first integrated development, Noöra comprises two towers offering 1,156 residences ranging from one- to three-bedroom units and a dedicated retail component of about 50,000 sq ft which will be managed by ParkCity.

Amenities and conveniences include co-working spaces, fitness studios, artisanal cafes, F&B outlets and convenience stores.
